Hot Duo Mahadewi

Mahadewi is a music group from Indonesia duo consisting Shinta Dewi (Tata) and Purie Andriani (Purie). This group under the auspices of Republik Cinta Management commanded by the top musicians, Ahmad Dhani.

Mahadewi duo formation is not independent of vocal group Dewi Dewi. Having been left by one of its personnel Kamarie Agustine Carolina (Ina), this vocal group began to shake. Because never found an appropriate replacement, as the initiator Ahmad Dhani Dewi Dewi was officially dissolved the group in December 2008.

Dewi Dewi personnel remaining, Tata and then given the freedom Purie chose to solo careers or establish new groups. Finally Tata and Purie chose to form a new group called Mahadewi.

The name itself Mahadewi deliberately chosen in order imposing more strong and more fresh than Dewi Dewi, as narrated by one of its personnel. At the end of 2008, Mahadewi launched the first single titled “Sumpah I Love You“. Own album officially released on February 27, 2009.
